„Ridnauner Kirchtag“, on 29th and 30th August 2015
This year, like every 2 years, we can enjoy our traditional “Ridnauner Kirchtag” again. On Saturday the celebration will take place at the tent/outdoor, on Sunday the event will start with the historical procession.
This year, like every 2 years, we can enjoy our traditional “Ridnauner Kirchtag” again. On Saturday the celebration will take place at the tent/outdoor, on Sunday the event will start with the historical procession.
On Sunday, starting from 14:00, you will be able to see the inhabitants in their traditional costumes at the parade. You can also see old ploughs, harrows, the farm boy carrying his scythe and the adorned cows; the procession will also be accompanied by the farm boy carrying the so called “Heupinngl” on his shoulders. The parade will give the visitors many other interesting historical glimpses. The celebration will also feature musical programme, entertainment for the little ones, culinary degustation and specialties of the cooks of Ridnaun.
